Why do we walk ?
Following the ‘Indignados’ International March to Brussels last july, we are around thirty persons, for the moment, of many nationalities, who will leave on foot on this November 9th from Nice in direction to Rome, then Athens.
Within the context of trusteeship of Greece and then Italy, we want to manifest our support to to these two peoples and to all the peoples that are fighting.
We also want to show that it’s possible to free the speech, to reappropriate the politic realm and exchange with the local populations through popular assembly. That it’s possible to experiment a new perception of time and space. That there are alternatives to the impasse of capitalism.
These alternatives can be reached by a collective, horizontal, self managed action, direct democracy, respect of nature etc….
Our approach is non-violent.
We make a call out to all people who want to participate in the march. This one will arrive in Rome on the 15th of January and in Athens on the 5th of May and will produce international protests. We will organize two successive global Agoras of one week each, in which the work and information gathered along the way will be collected.
